Mark Bennick
From
the first moment you see this 23 year old, 6'6" Magician, and watch his mastery of the Art of Illusions, you won't take
your eyes off the stage. If you blink he will make someone or something disappear, turn your head and his lovely assistant
will be transported right next to you. Where his show is a
family operation. Mark loves wowing his audience with non stop magic and he also has a great sense of humor with quick wit.Mark
has the good fortune of having some of the finest performing room’s right in his backyard.
"Showtime at the Apollo"
spotted him at The Orleans Hotel & Casino.
The "Magic
Castle" in Hollywood spotted him at the Paris Hotel & Casino
Having performed all over Las Vegas:
• Mirage Hotel & Casino•
Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino• Paris Hotel & Casino•Stardust Hotel & Casino
Just to name a few.
Many are surprised to discover that Mark was the youngest showroom illusionist in Las Vegas.
Las
Vegas Leisure Guide says “Mark brings back fond memories of a young David Copperfield.”
“Sometimes the usual trappings are the best. People love the Double Spiker; its 16 razor sharp
swords penetrating a box and the assistant, but it’s how you execute the illusion... and is the audience having fun?
That’s what I care about.”
states Mark.
Wise beyond his years….he’s an old magician’s soul in a young body. It’s
all about the magical possibilities. Bennick is so far ahead of the game at 23, it boggles the mind to think of the future
possibilities and new exciting moments on TV waiting ahead for this young man. For right now, his successful appearances on
“Showtime at the Apollo” and The Magic Castle is just the beginning.

Women in
Boxes
Oftentimes, Magicians are seen doing their
illusions in magic with one or two or even more assistants to help them with the trick. Their interaction with the assistants
greatly influences the people watching the show to feel comfortable and even to join in the show as volunteers in performing
some of the tricks. It’s the assistant’s duty to make sure the next prop is presented to the Magician in the right
order. They also play an important role in drawing the audience's attention, since the audience will look where they’re
looking while a trick is being performed. During the Illusion Show, eye contact between the Magician and assistant keep the
audience in tune to the trick and anxious to know what is going to happen next. The audience members strive to see the relationship
between the Magician and his assistant. Presentation is one of the most important aspects in an Illusion Show, the other being
the entertainment. Both of which are displayed by the Magician and his assistant.
Men Pushing Boxes
Back stage is one of the most important positions in the magic show. The crew back stage has to be
ready for anything and everything that might come at them. They come on and off stage without being noticed and they are the
Magician’s eyes and ears from the very moment the performance starts. Load in and packing up props is also another responsibility
of the stage crew, since they are usually the ones entrusted by the Magician to touch his expensive equipment and tools. In
case of an emergency they remain calm, knowing exactly what to do and how to handle the situation as well as the props. As
a crew member it is their duty to have the complete knowledge of the stage, theatre, lights and sound before and during the
show. Secretly, audiences really don’t want to know how a trick is performed as much as they want to enjoy the mystery
and intrigue surrounding the magic. This is the greatest aspect of the show that will contribute to its success.
